Mr. Pittman earned a B.A. in Christian Studies from California Baptist University, and an M.Div. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Old Testament Studies at SBTS, writing on the Book of Leviticus.
Mr. Pittman is married to Andy and has a daughter. He pastors at Baxter Avenue Baptist Church, regularly preaching and teaching.
